Detroit transplant living in Nashville
From the time I was about 19 years old, I knew I wanted to move to Nashville, Tennessee.
Granted, that was because I wanted to go to school at Belmont University, but I still knew I’d love the city. Flash forward 7 years later, and I finally took the jump.
With no job lined up (and honestly, no solid plan), I found a friend, got an apartment, and started to plan my move. About 3 months later, I landed in my favorite city with a laundry list of things to see and do.
My life in Nashville is more than just living. It’s finding new restaurants to try, new bars to drink at, new boutiques to support, new music to listen to, and overall new memories to make. That’s why I wanted to create this blog – to keep track of all of the new places and things I find around the city, and to share them with everyone I know!
If you think there’s somewhere else I should visit, or something else I should do, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org! I love getting and giving recs, so I’m always free to chat. Planning a bachelorette party or girls trip? Shoot me an email, too, and I’ll make sure to give you some of my favorite spots!
As the great Carrie Bradshaw once said:
“Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates, and guys are just people to have fun with.”
